In October, Opole belonged to Mr. MONOPOLY! The premiere of the game generated a lot of excitement among both residents and partners of the Opole! The official unveiling of the board took place in the Solaris Gallery, and after the official part, the inhabitants of Opole had the opportunity to play on a giant MONOPOLY board. In addition to short speeches by representatives of Winning Moves, the mayor of the city Arkadiusz Wisniewski and the edition partners, the stage was filled with games and activities for children and adults. MONOPOLY Opole is available in major stationary and online shops.
The city editions of MONOPOLY are unique projects, bringing together residents and local businesses. On the game board, instead of the classic fields with street names, there are local attractions and selected institutions and businesses. Also personalised are the chance and community chest cards and, in selected editions, tokens and other game components. Each city edition of MONOPOLY has an individually created graphic design. Both the graphic layer and the board content are consulted with representatives of the local community. The aim of the project is to create a product that will represent the region with dignity.
